A transparent summary of how Global Finance Calc respects borrower confidentiality, local browser storage, and advertising cookies.

1. How calculator data is handled

Calculator inputs are sent to our application over HTTPS so it can calculate and return your result. We do not save those values to a user account or calculation database. Proxy access logs retain request paths but redact query strings. Shareable links can include your inputs and may appear in browser history or be visible to anyone you send them to. Do not enter passwords, account numbers, or other credentials.

2. Browser Preferences & Recent Calculations

Global Finance Calc uses a small local preference cookie to remember your selected country, currency, language, and theme. Recent calculations are stored strictly in your local browser storage (localStorage) and never transmitted to third parties.

3. Ethical Advertising & Monetization

Global Finance Calc is free to use. Display advertising is provided by third-party partners, including Adsterra. Their scripts are not loaded unless you choose to allow ads. Once allowed, those partners may process device and browsing information under their own privacy policies.

4. Your Data Rights & Cookie Controls

You can decline advertising when prompted; calculators remain available either way. To change a saved choice, use Ad preferences in the footer. Advertising partners may also provide their own controls for personalized ads.
